The starting and ending part of Full Versions of the Old Man and the Sea leave with some blank pages  printed with blue gradient, which shows the flow of time and spatial variations from shallow to deep of seawater and thus embraces the theme: the pursuit of life, struggle, and all of the endless life mode. In the book, there is another book, which records and draws “clues”, expressing the existence of different time and space. Intersect reading with "Book in book", creates a double-reading experience and complex emotions, and it leaves blank for reader to record. Taking reflection of the fish and people in the sea as subject on the cover insinuates reality and fantasy, existence and extinction. In addition, it metaphors the life of legendary ups and downs.
